We are incredibly proud to be selected as one of the winners of the 2021 Inclusive Fintech 50 competition (IF50), an initiative aimed towards discovering and leveraging early-stage fintechs driving financial inclusion which address the special challenges of globally undeserved customer segments. Selection for the initiative is based on an assessment across the four criteria of inclusivity, innovation, traction, and scale potential.
Tae-Lim Oh, Co-founder and CEO of Gluwa on receiving the award:
We are honored to have been selected for the Inclusive Fintech 50 competition. Our project aims to leverage fintech and crypto to create basic financial services for those who have been unserved until now. Our vision is fully aligned with the spirit of Inclusive Fintech 50, which is why this is going to be a great opportunity for us to create a network with investors or start-ups who want to make the vision a reality.”
Inclusive Fintech 50 is managed by the Center for Financial Inclusion, and is sponsored by Visa, the MetLife Foundation, and Jersey Overseas Aid & Comic Relief, with support from Accion and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
We look forward to working with the IF50 Investment Network as we continue on our mission to create a fairer global economy for everyone independent of national borders.
