That’s why we’re excited to announce our latest partnership with Onboardly, an employee onboarding and management software platform for fast growing companies across Africa.
Founded in 2021 by Joshua Oguntade, Onboardly was started to help small teams scale their businesses quickly. To do this, Onboardly automates the resource and time-intensive costs of onboarding, allowing companies to perform tasks such as sending contracts, creating work emails, and giving access to working tools, all in one simple place. This includes various integrations with software including Google Workspace, Microsoft, Slack, Jira, Heroku, Asana, GitLab, GitHub, and Basecamp.
Onboardly also works directly with partners including Aella to offer add-on employee services and products. These services vary from healthcare insurance management, to a more recent partnership with WiiCreate to send new employees automated merch drops. So far, Onboardly has acquired over 170 client companies disbursed across Africa, including several Y Combinator startups, including Mono, Curacel, Float and more.
Onboardly is planning to expand these services even further. In particular, it has plans to offer payday loans to employees, giving its customers the payment flexibility they need to respond to short-term cash flow needs. Moreover, as the payroll management and disbursal platform for employees, Onboardly is uniquely positioned to ensure repayment, being able to leverage future earnings as collateral for short-term payday loans.
