Gluwa Wallet Update (V6.2.6): USD-G Support Discontinued
Gluwa Wallet update V6.2.6 has removed support for USD-G in favour of USDC-G. All USD-G holders can swap 1:1 for sUSDC-G. Details inside.
As part of the Gluwa App's latest update (v6.2.6) Gluwa has retired USD-G and removed its functionalities from the Gluwa Wallet. This means users will no longer be able to view their USD-G balance, send USD-G payments or perform USD-G exchanges using the Gluwa Wallet.
As part of the same update, we have launched support for USDC-G, our latest flagship Gluwacoins linked to the USDC stablecoin.
We are aware that users holding USD-G in their Gluwa Wallet will want to convert their holdings into USDC-G or sUSDC-G. All users holding USD-G can swap their USD-G for sUSDC-G at a 1:1 ratio. Details on how to swap your USD-G can be found at the bottom of this post.
Important Note for all USD-G holders:
If you have any remaining USD-G balance, please send an email to support@gluwa.com requesting to replace your USD-G with sUSDC-G. Please include your sUSDC-G wallet address in the email. We will take care of this conversion for you privately by sending an equivalent amount (1:1) of sUSDC-G to your nominated wallet address. You will have up to 6 months after the official update release in order to initiate this conversion request.
